Paloma Garcia-Lee to Star in Sam McConnell’s ‘Test’

Paloma Garcia-Lee has secured her next feature film role. She is set to star in director Sam McConnell’s upcoming drama film, Test. Production is scheduled to begin in Dover, Ohio, on March 3, 2025, with Mike Edward also joining the cast. Written by Brock Yurich, the screenplay follows an amateur bodybuilder in rural Ohio as he struggles with family conflict, substance abuse, and questions surrounding his emerging sexuality while pursuing his dream of becoming a champion.

‘Test’ Trailer Shows Bodybuilder Exploring Same-Sex Attraction While Confronting Substance Abuse and Religious Upbringing (EXCLUSIVE)

In director Sam McConnell’s new feature “Test,” Brock Yurich stars as Eddie, a competitive bodybuilder who suddenly finds himself attracted to his new coach (Mike Edward).

In an exclusive first look at the film’s teaser trailer, Eddie is seen pumping, primping and posing on the bodybuilder circuit. But there’s a much darker side to the showmanship that arises in this story, one that includes performance enhancing drugs, substance abuse and violence.
